Reset identity (Segment)

Use this action to clear the current identity and generate a new anonymous ID. It’s typically used when someone signs out.

Add the action

1. In the WeWeb editor, go to the Integrations tab and add the Segment integration.
2. In an Interface workflow, click + Add action.
3. Select Segment → Reset identity.
4. Select the Connection you want to use.

When to use it

• Right after a user clicks Sign out
• When you want to make sure tracking starts “fresh” for the next session
